The Vow
Directed by: Michael Sucsy
Starring: Rachel Mcadams and Channing Tatum
So I just finish watching it. Today would be, finally, the first time I saw it. (what a loser huh?) I’ve really enjoyed it, it was a great movie (which I think you already know, but I’m really just blogging this to express because it was that great for me.)
The story, the cast, the cinematography were all great. I didn’t get bored for a single moment. And as expected, Rachel did beautifully, even almost better than how she did on Morning Glory. Almost. She was great as always.
And Channing was surprisingly better than I expected. It eases me to know that he’s not just face for the camera.
I was a little disappointed with the ending, because I was hoping for more drama at it but then I remembered it was inspired from a true event so I figured it wouldn’t have looked great and realistic if they exaggerated it any further.
All in all it was a beautiful movie.
The Vow
Paige: “I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands. To speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they’re not, and to live within the warmth of your heart — and always call it home.”
Leo: “I vow to seriously love you, in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love.”
